Nahrab pilot automatic control valves are used as control and regulating valves in pipe lines. The operation of these valves is fully automatic and is controlled by the flow and does not require the application of energy from outside
The function of this valve is protecting the pump and the electric motor and preventing water hammer when it is turned off. Using this valve makes it easy to start up the electric pump and reduces the electric current. This valve is closed when the pump is started until the engine reaches the nominal speed of the valve and then opens, and when the pump is turned off, it is closed 90% slowly, and then turned off completely. In the event of a sudden power failure, it acts as check valve. And prevents returning flow and destructive damages of the pump. In order to regulate the flow or pressure from a hydraulic circuit and with a pressure difference across the valve and by using a pilot, it can regulate the flow or pressure.
