Howell bunger valves are used as the main control valve for dams and reservoirs. The main function of these valves is to dissipate the water energy and transfer the negative effects of cavitation out of the pipeline and the valve body.
- Drilling of flanges: In accordance with (DIN EN 1092-2 (DIN 2501)
- The valve actuator seat machining: According to ISO 5210
- Gearbox seat machining :According to ISO 5211
Product Features and Advantages:
- High dissipation of flow energy after leaving the valve
- High discharge capacity and very suitable discharge coefficient
- nearly linear flow control
- Wide range of sizes and pressures
- No cavitation
- No vibration on the valve and pipe
- Very soft displacement of the sleeve on the cylinder
- Very low probability of getting stuck due to proper and accurate bearing of sleeve on the cylinder
- Tight sealing with two-stage system including metal to primary metal and rubber with secondary metal contact
- Controllable opening and closing speed of the sleeve by the operator
- Ease of repair and replacement of parts
Corrosion Protection :
Electrostatic epoxy powder Coating with a min thickness 250 and certified by reputable international institutions for potable water
